Your ring managers' discussion group is no longer a functioning group so why not delete it? If it's being kept for the archives, this information can be found here on this forum. All these posts are irrelevant advertising, therefore spam.

I'm new to this forum and relatively new to WebRing and don't know anything of the politics that is part of this venue. I had decided not to respond to this post, as it was not directed to me, and I know that the best thing to do in this type of situation is myob. However after reading it again, I cannot let it go without commenting. Wouldn't this comment have been more appropriate if delivered in a private email?

Reading through the information that Andrea has taken the time to input for newbies is the only way I have been able to learn what is good, what is not good, and how to do what I need to do. I have not ever spoken with, or had email conversations with Andrea, so I am not a friend who is speaking up for her, I am mearly giving my observations as someone who came to WebRing through a link and wanted to learn more. It was by reading Andrea's directions on her website, and reading through now closed forums where I found answers. I do not consider it spam - and I did not join any of Andreas groups, only two forums, one of which is closed.

I apologize if I have overstepped my bounds here as a newbie to the group. Maybe the topic - defining spam - would be beneficial to this group? Maybe I am way off base with my definition.
