Ebay Auctions - 10/07/2009
Hello:

I'd like to know how we should handle websites with ebay auctions on them. They have a link to "ebay auctions" as part of their navigation. Everything is kept on their website unless the visitor goes to ebay to check on one of the items in the auction.

Isn't this creating a "oneway" navigation problem?

How should ring managers handle these?

Provided the site is not just a gateway to the ebay page(s) then it should be OK. That is, the page *should* have some content and merit on it's own. Ultimately most links from a site are going to be one-way (i.e., leaving one site for another), but if the site has intrinsic value of it's own then it falls into another category than links/webrings/entry pages all of which are teh scourge of the internet :)
